We've celebrated many birthdays, engagements and anniversaries here this year, but this is our first wedding (and with only three weeks to go until the end of the season) which we were so happy to be a part of . Best of luck for the future to Jason and Carly from California!

Autumn and with it comes Autumn warming flavours!

Maybe the only Thai place on Lake Como!

Roasted sweet potato with garlic greens and satay sauce, followed by vegetable and garlic prawn Thai red curry.

L'autunno e con esso i sapori caldi dell'autunno!

Forse l'unico posto tailandese sul Lago di Como!

Patate dolci arrosto con verdure all'aglio e salsa satay, seguite da verdure e gamberi all'aglio al curry rosso tailandese.

Autumn is nearly here on the lake and with it comes the arrival of 'Fungi' . So what better way to celebrate them than with an old favourite - Gnocchi in a creamy lemon and parsley sauce with mushrooms and spinach topped with local taleggio cheese and a new arrival - grilled chicken in a creamy porcini mushroom, tomato, thyme and garlic sauce.

L'autunno è alle porte sul lago e con esso arriva l'arrivo dei "Funghi". Quindi quale modo migliore per celebrarli se non con un vecchio piatto preferito: gli gnocchi in salsa cremosa di limone e prezzemolo con funghi e spinaci conditi con taleggio locale e un nuovo arrivo: pollo grigliato in salsa cremosa di funghi porcini, pomodoro, timo e aglio.

8 months done and 1 to go and we've had nearly 500 lovely guests through the door so far this year and this couple from London were such a pleasure to host. Joshua planned to ask Rhea to marry him on their last day here and luckily, she said yes! (Yet another secret for us to keep!)

We wish them all the luck in the world!

Sono trascorsi 8 mesi e 1 restante e quest'anno abbiamo avuto quasi 500 adorabili ospiti e questa coppia di Londra è stata un vero piacere ospitare. Joshua aveva programmato di chiedere a Rhea di sposarlo nel loro ultimo giorno qui e fortunatamente lei ha detto di sì! (Un altro segreto da mantenere!)

A special evening! Last night we got to experience Italian cuisine at its best! Gourmet food at Ali di Alice with friends in a spectacular setting with views over the lake and mountains, a fantastic string duo, local w**e and homegrown produce from the garden. A must do on Lake Como! 💛

What do you do on your first day off, since... February? Apparently jump off a cliff (or a few!) Instead of putting his feet up, the boss went out to play with friends Clive and Jens and did Bodengo 2! If you are visiting the lake, you can do this too, you dont have to, you can if you want to!! 😏 apart from the 4 hour white-knuckle route and 15 metre jumps, the scenery is spectacular! Natural gorges, waterfalls, jumps, slides, emerald green water, crystal rock pools and mountain views, its a day out to remember (or forget!)
