(255)

Nestled along Jamaica’s northeast coastline, Geejam is a six-acre property that extends from the foothills of the John Crow and Blue
Mountain chains to the Caribbean waterfront. This luxury boutique
hotel achieves a stylish equilibrium between ultra modern technology and the intrinsic grace of the natural island landscape. Geejam offers 12 new, luxurious Rumba Rooms designed to amplify your Geejam experience. With both ground floor and upper floor options, each offers our jungle-meets-chic signature style with its own, well-curated art collection. Seven double rooms consisting of three deluxe cabins, one suite, and a self-contained three-bedroom villa whose forest-blending exteriors give way to modern interiors, with digital amenities and sleek contemporary design. A state-of-the-art recording studio is one of the most prized features
of Geejam. An A-list of international music talent, including Gwen Stefani and No Doubt, Common, Drake, Björk, Snoop Dogg, and Sly and Robbie, have all written and recorded at the property. Feast on a unique brand of Jamaican fusion fare, which blends homestyle West Indian spices with cutting-edge global recipes at the Bushbar, nominated by the Jamaican press as one of the “top ten most fascinating places to hang out.”

There’s something about Portland that heals you without even trying.

The water, the people, the food, the pace of life. And tucked away in the hills, overlooking those beautiful blue waters, there’s Geejam

Here, food is made with love, the drinks keep flowing, the vibes stay high, and somehow there’s still a peace that makes you slow down and just be.

But the heart of Geejam has always been family.

As we say in Jamaica, “Wi likkle but wi tallawah.”

We may be a small boutique hotel, but the love here is BIG. Once you stay with us, you become part of that family too.

Natalie Odell and her family came to experience Geejam and Portland, and left us with this beautiful reminder of exactly what we hope every guest takes home with them.

A full heart, beautiful memories, and a little piece of Geejam.

Come for Portland. Stay for Geejam. Leave as family. ❤️
