姫川上流漁協による放流作業に参加させていただきました。今回はヤマメと言う渓流魚の稚魚(体長10cmほど)放流。
無事に育ってくれるとうれしいです👋
放流場所⁇ それはトップシークレットでございます♪

I had the opportunity to participate in a fish release organized by the Himekawa Upstream Fisheries Cooperative. This time, we released *yamame* (mountain trout) fry—young fish measuring about 10 cm in length.
We hope they grow up healthy and strong! 👋
As for the release location? That is top secret. 🤫

A sudden confession: I absolutely love dojo (loaches) ❤️
I’d love to try keeping them as pets, but apparently, their ideal temperature range is 15–25°C. Since it freezes here in Hakuba during the winter...
I think I’ll stick to eating them instead.

諏訪湖の川魚漁師(なのか🫢)の新津さんが獲って、ヤマニーカワニーの今西さんと諏訪までいただきに行った鮒を料理しました。
今回のレシピは琵琶湖湖畔の評判の川魚専門店のレシピ(Geminiのプロンプトです😆)
今まではコックリ甘露煮のレシピでしたが、今回は生姜を効かせた薄味のレシピでした。鮒の身がふっくらしてて気に入りました♪
今の時期の諏訪湖の鮒は卵を抱いているので絶品です。鮒は卵がとても美味しいお魚なんですよー

I prepared some *funa* (Crucian carp) that I picked up in Suwa—sourced by Mr. Niitsu, a river fisherman from Lake Suwa, with the help of Mr. Imanishi from Yamani-Kawani.
For this dish, I used a recipe from a renowned river-fish specialty shop on the shores of Lake Biwa (courtesy of a Gemini prompt! 😆).
While I usually make a rich, sweet-simmered version (*kanroni*), this time I tried a lighter recipe with a ginger accent. I really loved how plump and tender the fish meat turned out.
Crucian carp from Lake Suwa are exquisite this time of year because they are full of roe; the roe is truly delicious.

新津さん、今西さんありがとうございました😊

今年も尺上の鮒と採れたて新鮮バリバリのテナガエビを生きたまま白馬に連れて帰ってきました♪
ペットちゃいます。食べます😆

As part of Guesthouse Hasegawa’s annual June tradition, we visited Mr. Niitsu—a freshwater fisherman on Lake Suwa!
A big thank you to Mr. Niitsu and Mr. Imanishi! 😊

This year, too, we brought back a *funa* (crucian carp) over 30 cm long and some incredibly fresh, lively *tenaga-ebi* (long-arm river shrimp) to Hakuba. ♪
They aren't pets, though—we're going to eat them! 😆

丹精込めて…なく、育てたラズベリーが実りました(ちっちゃな苗を植えて放ったらかしにしてたら繁茂してえらい事になってす)
ラズベリーとお砂糖だけで自家製ジャムを作ってみました♪

I spend every day doing what I love—living the "slow life," . Or maybe just living day-to-day? 😆
The raspberries that I just planted a tiny seedling and left it alone, and now it’s grown wild and completely taken over)have finally ripened.
I tried making homemade jam using nothing but raspberries and sugar. ♪

I went to Lake Kizaki with Mr. Imanishi from Yamani-Kawani to fish for smallmouth bass (specifically to eat them).
What we actually caught, though, was a crucian carp nearly 40 cm long! ♪

ゲストハウスハセガワのリムジンには先日ETC車載器をとりあえず使えるように仮設置してました。今回はちゃんと設置しようと思います。
車載器の電源&アース配線の本設置と車載器、アンテナを見えなくするのが今回のミッションです👍

Getting ready for winter...?
We recently temporarily installed an ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) device in the limousine at Guesthouse Hasegawa so that it could be used. This time, we'll install it properly. The mission this time is to hide the power and ground wiring for the device, as well as the device and antenna. 👍

Preparation for winter.
I think off-season training is important for the coming winter. I reviewed my stream fishing gear for the first time in about 20 years. I'm pretty good at keeping things for a long time, if I do say so myself!
It's become much lighter 👍

Preparing for winter.
I installed an ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) device in the limousine at Guesthouse Hasegawa. This is a temporary installation, so the positive power was taken from the fuse box under the driver's seat, and the ground was connected to the original ground point after removing the kick panel next to the driver's seat.
I plan to install it properly once I have all the necessary parts. 😅
