Thank you for always rooting for Side Hill Lodge & Bar.
I have to tell you a very sorry and sad announcement today.
We have decided to close the Side Hill lodge at this year's March 15.
We experienced unforgettable impression and encounter with a lot of great guests during our operating about 11 years at the such a beautiful place Hakuba.
My dream is the helping for the many tourist to enjoy Japan.
Also I am thinking it's a my mission to give back to the next generation from the kindness I have received when I traveled in hitchhiking in New Zealand 20 years ago,
Therefore, In fact within a few years, I was planning to open guest houses in Tokyo and Kyoto.
I was still on the way to complete my dream.
But also my dream that opening the lodge is already came true.
One other thing that must not be ignored is my wife and 2 sons were always supporting me for my dreams.
And now, my son has some problems for his educations.
My wife and myself really want to clear them.
So I decide to support to my son and family in this time.
It's my turn now.
I probably move to New Zealand or other country which a fit place for us.
I will continue to use my personal FB account to a recent report.
I strongly believe that I'm able to seeing you again one day in somewhere else.
