🎍"Arashiyama Bamboo Forest Light-up" Livestream (Sep 30–Nov 8, 2026)🏮

Arashiyama's famous bamboo forest path is currently being illuminated, offering a beautiful trail of lights and decorations to its visitors.

The Kyoto City Tourism Association is providing a 24/7 livestream of the area. Check it to see the current crowding situation before heading out and enjoy a relaxing evening stroll.

Event period: September 30 (Sun)–November 8 (Sun), 2026
Time: 6 PM–9 PM (last admission at 8:40 PM)

Hi, there!
Tourists can't miss the hidden spot in Kyoto Station Building.

Go upstairs by the long escalator,
and you reach the
photo spot behind Kyoto Tower.
Look up the ceiling, which is the aisle to the opposite side, Isetan Dept. store's rooftop.
Go up more, you can see the whole building made of the Lego block.
The last step is the aisle, where you can see the top of Kyoto Tower.

It takes only 15 min or so to enjoy great landscape of Kyoto city. Stop Kyoto Station building.

Leeki Studio Kyoto is located at a quite easy access to Gion Matsuri Festival spot!

📍Guide to Yoiyama - Gion Matsuri Procession's Eve (Jul 14–16 & 21–23, 2026)🏮

The days leading up to Kyoto's biggest festival - Gion Matsuri - are grand celebrations in themselves. The beautifully decorated Yamahoko floats that will make their appearance during the main festival are displayed on the streets, and illuminated with decorative komagata lanterns.

Food stalls are set up during this time as well, and songs as well as music can be heard throughout the festival.

We have recently released the updated "Yoiyama Guide" that features the location of the Yamahoko floats as well as tips on how to better enjoy the festival.

Make use of it to better navigate Yoiyama while avoiding the crowds!
