こんばんわ。涼しい日が続き、夏は終わりましたね。ここは「海の京都」と呼ばれるエリアの京都の最北端、京丹後市の夕日ヶ浦海岸です。近くに夕日が美しい温泉地もあります。夕日が終わると、夜空は満天の星が彩ります。田舎リゾートも良いもので、また行きたくなる雰囲気を感じられますよ。興味のある方は是非。皆様明日も良い1日をお過ごし下さいませ。

Good evening. With the recent stretch of cool days, summer has truly come to an end. I am currently at Yuuhigaura Beach in Kyotango City—the northernmost point of the region known as "Kyoto by the Sea." There is also a hot spring resort nearby famous for its beautiful sunsets. Once the sun goes down, the night sky is illuminated by a vast expanse of stars. There is something special about a countryside resort like this; it creates an atmosphere that makes you want to visit again. I highly recommend checking it out if you are interested. おはようございます。10月に入り、ようやく半袖で寒さを感じるようになりました京都です。紅葉にはまだ早いですが、ゆっくり散策するには良い季節になりました。この動画は京都の人気観光地の1つである平等院の近くにある宇治神社までの道です。川を挟んでるのですが、この川にかかる朱の橋朝霧橋がなんとも綺麗な風景を創ります。歩くだけで凄く気持ちが良いですよ。皆様本日も良い週末をお過ごし下さいませ。

Good morning. It is now October here in Kyoto, and the weather has finally turned cool enough to feel the chill in short sleeves. While it is still a bit early for the autumn foliage, it has become a wonderful season for a leisurely stroll. This video shows the path leading to Uji Shrine, located near Byodo-in—one of Kyoto’s popular tourist spots. The route takes you across a river, and the vermilion Asagiri Bridge spanning the water creates a truly beautiful scene. It is a delightful walk. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

こんばんわ。台風の影響で雨が続きますね。さて、そろそろお腹が空く時間ですが、まぜそばなんていかがでしょう。ここはキラメキノトリさんです。台湾まぜそばや鶏白湯ラーメンで人気のラーメン屋ですが、京都発祥のお店なんです。今や滋賀県や大阪にもお店があります。美味しいのはもちろん、店名がかわいいですよね。四条室町店はキラメキノ青空、福知山店はキラメキノ太陽という店名です。是非行ってみて下さい。皆様明日も良い1日をお過ごし下さいませ。

Good evening. The rain keeps coming thanks to the typhoon, doesn't it? Well, it’s just about that time to get hungry—how about some *mazesoba* (mixed noodles)? This is "Kirameki no Tori." It’s a ramen shop popular for its Taiwan *mazesoba* and *tori-paitan* (creamy chicken broth) ramen, and it actually originated in Kyoto. They now have locations in Shiga and Osaka as well. Not only is the food delicious, but the shop names are adorable, too; the Shijo-Muromachi branch is called "Kirameki no Aozora" (Kirameki's Blue Sky), and the Fukuchiyama branch is "Kirameki no Taiyo" (Kirameki's Sun). Good morning. It is hard to believe, but we are entering October this week. Intermittent rain began yesterday morning and continued throughout the day, and the forecast calls for rain again today. It has suddenly turned cooler—perfect weather for going out—though the rain makes the prospect a bit less appealing. On days like this, it is nice to simply relax at home. おはようございます。本日は秋分の日、祝日です。本日でシルバーウィーク最終日という方もいらっしゃると思いますが、皆様連休はいかがお過ごしでしたでしょうか？やはり大型連休となるとお出かけになる方が多いと思います。どこへ行っても人。特に京都は、という感じかもしれません。ここ伏見稲荷大社は言わずと知れた全国にある稲荷神社の総本宮。稲荷山の山上から麗まで、無数の朱の鳥居が並んでいる光景で有名ですよね。京都に来られた際は是非行ってみていただきたいと思います。当館から地下鉄を利用して約25分です。皆様本日も良い休日をお過ごし下さいませ。

Good morning. Today is the Autumnal Equinox Day, a national holiday. For some, this marks the final day of "Silver Week"; how did you spend the long weekend? Naturally, many people choose to go out and travel during such extended holidays. It seems that everywhere you go, there are crowds—especially in a place like Kyoto. Fushimi Inari Taisha, where we are located, is the renowned head shrine for all Inari shrines across Japan. It is famous for the sight of countless vermilion torii gates stretching from the base to the summit of Mount Inari. I highly recommend visiting if you come to Kyoto; it takes about 25 minutes to get here from our hotel using the subway. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday today.

Kyoto is home to many famous shrines and temples, and this one is particularly renowned: Yasui Konpira-gu. It is known as a shrine that severs bad ties and attracts good ones. It is considered one of Kyoto's premier "power spots"—so potent that some say it is almost frightening. While it is best known for severing or forging relationships, it is also said to bring blessings for traffic safety, business prosperity, and general good fortune.
