こんばんわ。甘いものが食べたくなると、よく寄らせてもらう和菓子屋のににぎさんです。ここはたくさんの種類の大福が置いてあり、テイクアウトも可能ですが、店の奥がカフェになっていて、買った大福をカフェで食べることもできます(美味しそうな大福の写真撮り忘れました)。コーヒーもかなりこだわられており、色んな豆のコーヒーが用意されてます。コーヒー豆も買って帰ることも可能です。是非行ってみて下さい。祇園にあるので当館から徒歩10分ほどです。皆様明日も良い1日をお過ごし下さいませ。

Good evening. This is Ninigi, a Japanese confectionery shop that I often visit when I'm craving something sweet. They have many kinds of daifuku (rice cakes filled with sweet bean paste), and you can take them out, but there's also a cafe in the back of the shop where you can eat the daifuku you bought (I forgot to take a picture of the delicious-looking daifuku). They are also very particular about their coffee, and they have a variety of beans available. You can also buy coffee beans to take home. I highly recommend you check it out. It's located in Gion, so it's about a 10-minute walk from our hotel. I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow.

おはようございます。本日から6月に入り、本日も良い天気で日中は暑くなりそうです。4月の末に京都市役所の西側1階に「ててまち」という店舗区画がオープンしました。歴史ある町並みに新たな価値を加え、人と人、町と町、といったそれぞれが、手と手（テテ）をつないでいくような交流の場の創出を願い、命名されたようです。人気のカレー屋やパン屋、お肉屋や蕎麦屋、スタバなどが入ってます。地下鉄東西線の京都市役所前駅から徒歩3分、当館からは徒歩18分ほどです。是非行ってみて下さい。皆様今週も良い一週間をお過ごし下さいませ。

Good morning. June has begun today, and the weather is fine again today, with temperatures expected to be quite hot during the day. At the end of April, a new shopping area called "Tetemachi" opened on the first floor on the west side of Kyoto City Hall. It seems to have been named with the hope of adding new value to the historic townscape and creating a place for exchange where people and towns can connect, like hands (tete). It houses popular curry restaurants, bakeries, butcher shops, soba noodle shops, a Starbucks, and more. It's a 3-minute walk from Kyoto City Hall Station on the Tozai Subway Line, and about an 18-minute walk from our hotel. Please do go and check it out. Have a great week everyone.

Hello. It was a beautiful, hot day today. It's almost the season when hydrangeas will be in full bloom. Ryosokuin Temple is gaining popularity, mainly through magazines and social media, for its cute shaped ema (votive tablets) and the opportunity to make your own amulets. Good morning. We had a foreign guest last night who was delighted to see fireflies. Near our inn, the area around Gion Shirakawa is a good spot. If you're lucky, you can see fireflies dancing gently in the air. The best time to see them is around 8-9pm, until mid-June. It's cooler there this time of year, and the sound of the river is very pleasant. We hope you all have a wonderful week.
