We invite DJs and artists monthly for our guests and visitors to enjoy music and the sound experience at Lobby Lounge.
This time, we are pleased to host MANJU 10th ANNIVERSARY, a vinyl DJ party organized by Miharu, well known for his passion for bread and records.
MANJU is a monthly event held at Good Morning Record Bar, featuring a genre-free selection centered around Japanese music, offering a unique opportunity to discover the rich sound and charm of vinyl records.
Alongside Miharu, DJs Makoto Ono and OPAL7 will keep the atmosphere alive with their distinctive selections.
Admission is free, so feel free to stop by and enjoy an evening of great music with us.

今回はパンとレコードでおなじみMiharu氏 (.manju)主催のヴァイナルDJパーティー、饅頭10th ANNIVERSARYを開催いたします。
饅頭(manju)は、Good Morning Record Barにて毎月開催している和物を軸にジャンルレスな選曲で、レコードならではの音楽との出会いを楽しめるイベントです。
miharu氏に加え、小野真氏(makoto ono) ・OPAL7氏 (kuroi black)によるDJ陣にも会場を盛り上げていただきます。

【JAPANGRAPH Exhibition -MATSURI TRACES＆CONTOURS-】

At NOHGA HOTEL, we have long valued our connection with art and culture, creating opportunities for guests to encounter new perspectives and local stories.

This summer, in collaboration with JAPANGRAPH—a visual magazine that explores the landscapes, cultures, and everyday lives found across Japan—we are pleased to present “MATSURI: TRACES & CONTOURS,” a photography exhibition focusing on festivals and folk traditions from around the country.

MATSURI: TRACES & CONTOURS

Festivals are reflections of a place’s landscape, history, prayers, and collective memory.

This exhibition features photographs of festivals and folk traditions documented by JAPANGRAPH throughout Japan.

Beyond the well-known celebrations, the exhibition shines a light on regional rituals and enduring folk practices that continue to shape everyday life, revealing the diversity of Japanese culture and the unique character of each community.

Through these photographs, we invite you to trace the contours of memory and experience the passage of time embedded in each place, embarking on a journey through the many cultural landscapes of Japan.

NOHGA HOTELではアートとの関りを重視した取り組みを行ってきました。
今回は、日本各地の風景や文化、人々の営みを写真とともに伝えるビジュアル誌「JAPANGRAPH」とともに、全国の祭礼や民俗文化に焦点を当てた写真展「MATSURI TRACES＆CONTOURS」を開催いたします。

MATSURI TRACES＆CONTOURS

祭りは、その土地の風土や歴史、人々の祈りや記憶を映し出すもの。

本展では、JAPANGRAPHがこれまで全国各地で取材・撮影してきた祭礼や民俗文化をテーマにした作品を展示いたします。

全国的に知られる祭りだけでなく、地域に受け継がれてきた固有の祭礼や、今もなお人々の暮らしに息づく民俗文化に焦点を当て、日本文化の多様性や地域ごとの豊かな個性をご紹介します。

写真を通して、それぞれの土地に流れる時間や、人々が受け継いできた記憶の輪郭に触れながら、日本各地を旅するようにお楽しみください。

A new encounter with Kyoto craftsmanship.

Starting July 1, all guest rooms at NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO feature original mugs created in collaboration with nine ceramic artists and one pottery studio based in Kyoto.

Each piece reflects the individuality of its maker and the evolving craftsmanship of Kyoto today.

We hope these mugs become a small connection between your stay and the people who continue to create in this city.

京都のものづくりと出会う、あたらしい滞在のかたち。

NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTOでは、京都で活動する9名の陶芸作家と1つの陶芸工房とともに制作したオリジナルマグカップを、7月1日より全客室に導入いたしました。

一つひとつに、作り手の個性と、今の京都のものづくりの魅力が込められています。

この器が、滞在と京都のつくり手をつなぐ小さなきっかけになりますように。

We invite DJs and artists monthly for our guests and visitors to enjoy music and the sound experience at Lobby Lounge.
For this edition, we welcome special guest DJs RINGO, who delivers his own unique groove rooted in Jamaican music, and G.G. BEAN, a Kyoto-based selector known for his warm, vinyl-driven sets that color the local music scene.
Joining them are the familiar faces of Good Mellows, whose members will also take to the decks and bring even more atmosphere to this summer evening.
For our food pop-up, INADA COFFEE will be serving aromatic coffee, while Umekoji Curry & Clothing Store, known for blending spice, food, and culture, will offer special food selections to enjoy alongside the music.
Grab a coffee or a bite to eat, settle in, and spend a relaxing summer evening surrounded by good music.

さらに、NOHGAでもおなじみの Good Mellows（GOOD MELLOWS）のメンバーもDJとして参加し、心地よい音楽とともに夏の夜を彩ります。
そしてフードポップアップには、香り豊かなコーヒーを提供する INADA COFFEE（INADA COFFEE）と、スパイスを軸に食とカルチャーを発信する 梅小路カレーと洋品店（）が出店。音楽とともにお楽しみいただけるフード＆ドリンクをご用意します。

We invite DJs and artists monthly for our guests and visitors to enjoy music and the sound experience at Lobby Lounge.
This time, we are thrilled to present “Gift,” a party curated by DJ YOTTU.

For this special night, we will welcome singer-songwriter and electronic producer MARINA ECHO for a live performance. Her delicate sound, blending vocals and electronic music, together with her soulful voice, will gently fill the night at NOHGA.

Joining the lineup are DJs YOTTU and ASAHI, well known for his Morning DJ sessions at NOHGA. The evening will also feature a special space installation by asaco (SPEKTRA)

In addition, pop-up shops offering tequila and mezcal-based drinks, baked sweets, books and zines, herbal tea, and more will gather at the venue.

This will be the third edition of Gift at NOHGA.

Centered around music, Gift is a place where people, objects, and creativity come together naturally.

DJにはYOTTU氏、モーニングDJとしてお馴染みのASAHI氏（）に２名、さらに空間演出にasaco(SPEKTRA)氏（）が登場。
また、ポップアップではテキーラやメスカルを中心としたドリンクに加え、焼き菓子、本やZINE、ハーブティーなど、個性豊かなショップが並びます。

今回で3回目となるGiftのパーティー。

【OKIHANA:置花】

OKIHANA is an interactive performance where tea, koto (a traditional Japanese instrument), electronic music, and visual programming resonate together.

This special tea ceremony is inspired by the shared aesthetic found in both the Japanese tea ceremony and music:

he aesthetics of placement — a sensitivity to what is placed, where, and how, within space and time.

At the venue, guests are welcomed with tea and sweets prepared by a tea practitioner.
Live koto performance unfolds alongside sound and visual compositions created through electronic music and programming.
A bar by CICON will also be available at the venue.

As the performance unfolds, the presence and actions of the audience themselves subtly influence the shifting soundscape and imagery, making each moment unique.

By unfolding the sensibility that lives within the tea room into a temporal landscape of sound and image, OKIHANA explores what kind of “flower” may bloom when different forms of placement are brought onto the same plane.
We invite you to experience this fleeting moment firsthand.

置花 は、茶・箏・電子音楽・ビジュアルプログラミングが共鳴し合う、参加型パフォーマンスです。

本企画は、茶の湯と音楽に共通して見出される美意識──
空間と時間のなかで「何を、どこに、どのように置くか」という配置の美学に着想を得た、特別な茶会として構成されています。

会場では、茶人による茶と菓子のふるまいとともに、箏の生演奏が行われ、電子音楽とプログラミングによって生み出される音と映像の表現が重なり合います。
会場内では、CICONによるバーもお楽しみいただけます。

パフォーマンスの進行とともに、観客一人ひとりの存在や振る舞いそのものが、音や映像の変化にささやかに影響を与え、瞬間ごとに異なる風景が立ち上がります。

茶室に息づく感覚を、音と映像による時間的な風景へとひらき、異なる「配置」が同じ平面に置かれたとき、そこにどのような「花」が咲くのか。
置花は、その問いを静かに探ります。
ぜひ、この一瞬限りの体験を会場でご体感ください。
