[Hakone Daimyo’s Procession]
Every year on November 3rd — Culture Day — Hakone hosts the Daimyo’s Procession, a lively and colorful parade that brings history to life.
When I stopped by Hakone-Yumoto, it was my first time seeing the event, and I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was amazing, and it was so cool to watch this beautiful tradition up close. You can even spot geisha in the parade — not just in Kyoto!
If you’re ever in Hakone around that time, don’t miss it!
