数々の賞を受賞されているデザイン・画家のBirgit Wickさんが当ゲストハウスに半月ほどご宿泊くださりました。Birgitさんは、書道の研鑽も積まれたことがあり、墨と筆を用いて絵を描かれます。まさに東洋と西洋の融合。その作品はとてもダイナミックで素敵です。
今回当ゲストハウスにご宿泊中に、お部屋からのぞむお庭のスケッチを描いてくださりました。とても素敵に描いていただき、私たちも大変嬉しく思っております。

Birgit Wick, award-winning designer and painter who lives and works in Sausalito, California stayed at our guesthouse for about two weeks. Birgit had also studied calligraphy and creates her paintings using ink and brushes. It is truly a fusion of East and West. Her works are incredibly dynamic and beautiful.
During her stay at our guesthouse, she sketched the garden as seen from her room. She captured it beautifully, and we are truly delighted.
