灰色の街に色彩の力を！
"The Power of COLOR to the City of Gray"

現在、西成区萩之茶屋（通称：釜ヶ崎）では高齢化が著しく進んでおり

街自体の活気が一昔前に比べ落ち込んできています。

老朽化した建築物の放置や改修工事が出来ないままの建物も目立つ様になってきており一つの原因として改修費用の捻出がままならず放置となっている場合が多く街、商店街自体が荒んだ状況になってきており街の活性が段々と落ちてきているのを確実に感じています。

そこでグラフィティアーティストに協力して頂きシャッターや壁にグラフィティを描かせて頂き古いシャッターや壁を１つの作品として塗り替えを現在行っております。

釜ヶ崎から近い通天閣周辺や新しいホテルは観光客やバックパッカー達で賑いを
取り戻してきております。釜ヶ崎はそれと反比例し高齢者の街へと進んでいます。
街には昔から営む美味しい店や面白い店も沢山あり、いつかグラフィティがこの街の名所のとなり新しい流れが生まれ街の方々とグラフィティ

が互いに良い形で繋がっていけるモノにして行きたいと考えております。

現在、この活動は府や区、自治体の力は使わず「灰色の街に色彩の力を！」をテーマにアーティストの力と街の方々の協力で行っています。

ここでまだ紹介していない作品も増えてきています。近隣にお越しの際は是非！

Maybe you know Nishinari-ku Haginochaya (Kamagasaki)
suburb of Osaka is not active now from couple of years ago
coz everything be aging. You can see too many old buildings and ruins
that reason why they couldn't get scraped the cost of the repairs
that is all problem. Definitely, we had feeling a down active of this town in day by day. Then we had paint on old shutters and old walls as a piece of art by Graffiti Artist of all the world now. Around Tsutenkaku or new hostel has come back to active by tourists and backpackers. On the other hand, Kamagasaki is not... there are getting the old town...
But this town have some good traditional food shops and stuffs. One day, we hope we want to going to join with local people
and graffiti art in good things and there will be the biggest cool place in Japan by doing graffiti. This activity action were organized by the local people and graffiti artists definitely not by the government. In the theme of "The Power of COLOR for the City of Gray" !! We'll show you other stuffs so check out there when you come over to Osaka!
