昔、おじいちゃんが…
山の斜面でミツバチを飼っていて

時々
とれたての蜂蜜を
おやつみたいに食べてました🍯

今はもう
巣箱もミツバチも
あまり見かけなくなったけれど

やぎみちの家には
今でも
たくさんの草花があります🪴

冬の終わりにはきんかんが色づき
春が近づくころには
ザボンやデコポン

少しずつ景色は変わっても
季節はちゃんと巡っている☺️

最近
季節の変化を感じていますか？🌿

My grandfather used to keep honeybees
on the hillside behind this house.

Sometimes,
we would eat freshly harvested honey
like a little afternoon treat 🍯

The beehives are gone now,
and we rarely see bees here anymore.

But the plants still return every year,
quietly reminding us of the changing seasons.

At the end of winter,
the kumquats begin to turn orange.

As spring gets closer,
pomelos and dekopon start to grow.

Even though the scenery changes little by little,
the memories of everyday life still remain here.

ただただそこにいる時間

こんにちはやぎみちの家です🏡

新年度が始まり
皆さま慌ただしい毎日を
お過ごしかと思います🌿

仕事や家事、育児
他にも
やることに追われる毎日の中で
気づかないうちに心まで張りつめていませんか？

ちゃんと休みたいのに
休み方がわからない😮‍💨

朝の堤防を
のんびりお散歩 🐕

やぎみちから少し歩くと
静かな堤防の散歩道があります

車も通らず、空が広くて
海がゆっくり明るくなっていく時間

ワンちゃんと
ただゆっくり歩くだけで
なんだか気持ちが整う場所です☺️

朝の澄んだ空気と
やさしい光に包まれる時間 🌿

大型犬でも
のびのび歩けます 🐕

Just a short walk from Yagimichi,
there’s a quiet path by the water.

No cars, wide open skies,
and the sea slowly lighting up with the sunrise.

Simply walking with your dog
at a gentle pace

田舎のお爺ちゃんお婆ちゃん家
みたいな場所です🏡

門のポストをのぞいて
葉っぱをお手紙にしてみたり

どこからか大きな植物を
持ってきたり🌱

シャボン玉を追いかけまわし

家の中では
廊下を走りまわって
電車ごっこもする🚃

子どもにとっては
全部が遊び

大人にとっては
どこか懐かしい時間

子どもたちにとっても
「田舎のおばあちゃん家」みたいな存在に
なれたら嬉しいです🌿

Yagimichi feels less like a hotel
and more like a countryside home 🏡

Peeking into the gate mailbox,
turning leaves into little letters,

Bringing back big plants
from somewhere in the garden 🌱

Chasing bubbles outside,

And inside the house,
running down the hallway
and playing train together 🚃

For children,
everything becomes a playground.

For adults,
it feels a little nostalgic.

We would be happy
if Yagimichi could become
a place that feels like
“grandma’s countryside home”
for children too 🌿

This sign actually has a little story…

It was made by a sign maker
located just 4 minutes from Yagimichi ✨

A big thank you to Mr. Kida
for creating this beautiful sign for us.

Next to the sign workshop
there is also a small café
where you can enjoy delicious coffee ☕️

They often host local markets as well,
so it’s definitely worth checking out ☑️

The path leading to the entrance of Yagimichi
has been walked by our family for many years.

Looking at old photos from my childhood,
it feels like the scenery from the past
and the present gently overlap here 🌿

a slow, peaceful moment
with a cup of coffee in your hand?

もともと家族と動物たちが
一緒に暮らしていた家です🏠

祖父の時代には
雑種のビッグちゃん

父の時代には
保護犬のアイリッシュセッター
龍之介くんがいました🌱


龍之介くんは散歩に行くと
リードをぐいぐい引っ張って歩く
とても元気なワンちゃん😂

猫たちもたくさんいて
この家はずっと
動物と一緒に暮らす場所でした🦮🐈

だからこそ今
この家を


「大型犬と泊まれる宿」として
また人とペットが
一緒に過ごせる場所にしています🐾


庭をのんびり歩いたり
古民家でゆっくり過ごしたり

犬と旅する時間が
少し特別な思い出になりますように🌿

We turned a 50+ year old traditional Japanese house
into a place where you can stay with your large dog 🐕

Yagimichi was originally a home
where our family lived together with many animals.

In my grandfather’s time,
there was a mixed-breed dog named Big.

In my father’s time,
there was an Irish Setter rescue dog
named Ryunosuke.

Whenever we took him for a walk,
he would pull the leash so hard
and walk full of energy 😂

There were also many cats,
and this house has always been
a place where people and animals lived together.

That’s why today
we decided to turn this house into

a place where people and their pets
can spend time together again 🐾

Take a peaceful walk in the garden,
relax inside the old house,
and enjoy traveling with your dog.

We hope the time you spend here
becomes a special memory 🌿

そして今は父が
変わらず手入れを続けています


脚立や梯子に登る父を見ると
正直少しヒヤヒヤしますが😅

こうして庭の景色が
受け継がれていることを
とても嬉しく思っています

夕方になると庭は少し暗くなるため
足元にやさしい灯りを準備しました✨

夜に到着される方も
安心して歩いていただけたら嬉しいです

ここでゆっくりとした時間を
過ごしていただけますように🌙

A quiet garden cared for by generations 🌿

A garden passed down from my grandfather to my father 🌿

The garden at Yagimichi
was once cared for by my grandfather

Now my father continues
to look after it

Watching him climb ladders
sometimes makes me a little nervous 😅

But I’m truly happy
that this garden and its scenery
are being passed down through generations

As the garden becomes a little darker in the evening
we have added gentle lights along the path ✨

We hope guests arriving at night
can walk safely and comfortably

May you spend a peaceful
and relaxing time here 🌙
