「ゲストハウス品川宿」は、本日10月16日、15周年を迎えました。それに合わせて、「品川宿ゲストハウス&ツアーズ」に改名し、ロゴおよびWEBサイトを刷新。さらなる事業成長とともに、品川エリアはもちろん、連携する日本国内外の地域、ゲストハウスの皆様とともに、より良い観光業・まちづくりを目指していきます。

15年間で、「ゲストハウス品川宿」の外観も大きく変わってきました。ゲストハウス運営の変化は、街の変化だけでなく、ゲストハウスをめぐる宿泊業、観光業、まちづくり文脈の変遷も大きく関わっています。これまで語られてこなかったゲストハウスの歴史まで、代表・玉井（渡邊）が語りました。

Guesthouse Shinagawa-shuku” celebrated its 15th anniversary today, October 16. To coincide with the anniversary, the name was changed to “Shinagawa-shuku Guesthouse & Tours” and the logo and website were renewed. With further business growth, we will aim for better tourism and community development, not only in the Shinagawa area, but also with the local communities and guesthouses in Japan and abroad with which we collaborate.

Over the past 15 years, the appearance of “Guest House Shinagawa Inn” has changed dramatically. The changes in guesthouse operations are not only due to changes in the city, but also to changes in the lodging, tourism, and urban development context surrounding guesthouses. The representative of the guesthouse, Mr. Tamai (Watanabe), talked about the history of the guesthouse, which has not been talked about until now.

The dream of opening a guesthouse was fulfilled by a young man with no fixed address who survived the Great East Japan Earthquake and Corona.

From now on, as “Shinagawa-juku Guesthouse & Tours” instead of “Guesthouse Shinagawa-shuku”, we intend to contribute to the further development of the city by offering local experiences that delve deeper into the charms of the area to visitors in various forms.
