The rice harvest season has arrived again this year.
In Hongu Town, the harvest time comes a bit earlier than other areas, and this beautiful scenery can be seen until late August.
Right behind Villa KUMANO lies rice fields, allowing you to enjoy this view all to yourself.
We are truly grateful for the blessings of nature and the hard work of the farmers, and we will cherish every grain of rice with appreciation.

今年もお米の収穫時期が来ました。本宮町では収穫は少し早く、8月下旬までこの景色が見られます。Villa KUMANO の真後ろは田んぼなので、この景色を占有できます。自然の恵みと農家の皆様に感謝しながら、大切にお米をいただきます。

A Sign Board Has Finally Arrived at Villa KUMANO!

After nearly three years since opening, we finally installed a sign board in August 2025.

Our logo was created by the inspiration of Kumano Hongu.

The black board beautifully blends with the green colors that represents the nature of Kumano.

Please find this new sign board as a landmark when you visit us!

熊野のインスピレーションを受けて完成したロゴです。

Villa KUMANO is a charming traditional Japanese house, so you can see what a traditional Japanese family lifestyle looks like.

It is in the best location Kumano Kodo pilgrims, in the heart of Kumano Kodo call pilgrimage Routes. You can walk to Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine in only a few minutes. It is also the closest villa to Oyunohara where Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine was originally located. From our terrace and a bedroom, you can see a stunning view with the Kii Mount Ranges, and the iconic large Torii gate.

Villa KUMANO では宮ずしさんに夕食の提供をお願いし、宿泊者専用メニューを共同開発しました。外国人のお客様にお泊まりいただくなかで、ベジタリアンなどのリクエストを多くいただきます。海外では食の多様性が日本以上に進んでいることを背景に、宮ずしさんにもご対応をお願いしています。
この写真は、ベジタリアンメニューの一例です。野菜を使ったお寿司や、天ぷら、蒸し野菜、など色とりどりのおいしいお料理を提供してくださいます。なかでも、こんにゃくの刺身は珍しいようで、お客様よりご好評いただいております！
