11月に上海で開催される第11回Asian Triangle Heavy-Ion Conferenceのfirst announcementです。

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that "The 11th Asian Triangle Heavy-Ion Conference (ATHIC 2026)" will be hosted by Fudan University and held at the Shanghai Science Hall – the historic venue that hosted Quark Matter 2006 two decades ago – from November 5 (Thursday) to November 9 (Monday), 2026, with onsite registration starting on Thursday, November 5.

The conference aims to bring together researchers to discuss recent experimental and theoretical progress in heavy-ion collisions and related fields. The scientific program of ATHIC 2026 will focus on a wide range of topics, including Initial state and thermalization, Jets and medium response, Heavy quarks and quarkonia, Electromagnetic probes, Collective dynamics, Correlations and fluctuations, QCD phase diagram and extreme conditions, QGP in small systems, Strong fields and vorticity, Hadronic interactions and exotic states, New theoretical developments, and Experimental techniques and future programs.

Online registration and applications for financial support for young students and postdoctoral researchers will open around March 20, 2026, via the conference website. Details regarding eligibility and application procedures will be provided at that time.

The registration fees are as follows (The conference registration includes access to all scientific sessions, conference materials, lunches, coffee breaks, and the conference dinner banquet. Accommodation and travel costs are not included.):

Early registration fee (until 15 September 2026): 1800 CNY / 240 EUR / 250 USD
Late registration fee (16 September – 5 November 2026): 2500 CNY / 340 EUR / 350 USD
Fee for accompanying person to attend the conference dinner banquet: 500 CNY / 60 EUR / 60 USD

６月にアメリカ・ナッシュビルで開催される国際会議Hard Probes 2026の案内です。

Dear colleagues,

We have extended the abstract submission deadline for the 13th International Conference on Hard and Electromagnetic Probes of High-Energy Nuclear Collisions (HP2026) to Friday, January 23, 2026:

Dates and venue
The main program will begin on Monday morning, June 22, and end on Friday, June 26, 2026. A Student Day will precede the main program on Sunday, June 21. HP2026 will highlight recent theoretical advances and the latest experimental results from BNL, CERN, and other international facilities.

The conference will be hosted at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Plenary sessions will be held in the Student Life Center, while parallel sessions and the poster session will be in nearby academic buildings. Lunches will be in Vanderbilt's newly built dining halls. The area around Vanderbilt offers a variety of dining options within walking distance, from upscale restaurants to budget-friendly spots, with many more options a short bus ride or rideshare away.

- High-momentum hadrons and correlations
- Heavy quarks and quarkonia
- Electromagnetic and electroweak probes
- Nuclear PDFs, saturation, and early-time dynamics
- Future experimental facilities and new techniques

Student & postdoc Support
Support will be available for a limited number of graduate students and postdocs in the form of a reduced registration fee and/or lodging in Vanderbilt's recently built residence halls.


Travel and accommodations
- Travel: Nashville International Airport (BNA) is located ~15 km from campus with frequent connections via major U.S. hubs and select international flights. Ground transportation to Vanderbilt via rideshare or taxi typically takes 15–25 minutes.
- Accommodations: Conference-rate hotel room blocks within walking distance of campus and affordable on-campus residence-hall housing will be offered. Details and booking links will be available on Indico soon.

アメリカ・ブルックヘブン国立研究所のRHIC加速器やスイス・CERN研究所のLHC加速器を用いて、クォーク・グルーオン・プラズマ (QGP) の物性研究やQCD相構造などの理解のために、高エネルギー原子核衝突実験が行われています。高エネルギー原子核衝突では、生成された高温高密度の状態が冷却とともにハドロン相へと移行し、その過程での中間子質量の変化や再散乱といったハドロン相の物理が、観測される粒子生成や相関に直接影響を与えます。これらは、QGPの性質を正しく抽出する上で重要なだけでなく、ハドロン相における強い相互作用系のダイナミクスそのものを探る上でも極めて興味深いテーマです。今回のセッションでは、この分野で研究を進めているお二人の講演者をお招きし、それぞれのアプローチから見たハドロン相の物理についてお話しいただきます。

Strangeness in Quark Matter (SQM2026)

の案内です。

Dear Colleagues,

The 22nd International Conference on Strangeness in Quark Matter (SQM2026) will be held on the campus of University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) during March 22-27, 2026. The SQM conference series will continue to focus on strange and heavy quark probes of the quark-gluon plasma and astrophysical phenomena. The SQM2026 will highlight recent experimental and theoretical achievements on these physics topics related to high temperature and high energy/baryon density quantum chromodynamics.

The conference website is https://indico.global/e/sqm2026. The conference is open for registration. Because of the tight schedule for the preparation of the conference due to some reasons beyond our control, we would like to humbly request please register as early as possible. The early registration fee for regular attendees will be $700. The deadline for early registration is January 20, 2026.

The abstract submission is now open and the deadline for abstract submission will be November 1, 2025. We expect decisions for contributed talks will be made by December 15, 2025.

The conference will be able to provide financial support to graduate students in the form of registration fee reduction thanks to generous support from several outstanding institutions in our community. We encourage students to apply for the financial support as early as possible.
