【来年の参考に！空海の道ウォーク】
四国遍路屈指の難所「遍路ころがし」を越えて焼山寺へ。
5/17(日）開催される「空海の道ウォーク」は、1200年前の自然が残る道を行く特別な行事です。
今年の申し込みは終了していますが、毎年この時期に開催されています。

「険しい山道を一人で歩くのは不安…」という方も、この日は多くの参加者と一緒に歩けるので安心です。
そして、この日限定で開店する焼山寺のうどん屋さんは、疲れた体に染み渡る最高のご褒美です！
ぜひ来年のカレンダーにチェックしておいてくださいね。

[For your future travel: Kukai-no-michi Walk]
Hike the "Henro-korogashi," the most challenging steep slope on the Shikoku Pilgrimage, to Shosan-ji Temple.
This sunday’s "Kukai-no-michi Walk" is a special annual event to experience the same nature Kukai saw 1,200 years ago.
Registration for this year is closed, but it's held every May.

If you're worried about hiking the mountain alone, this event is perfect as you can walk with many fellow pilgrims.
Best of all, the udon shop at Shosan-ji is specially open on this day—it’s the perfect treat after a long hike!

第1回子ども食堂を開催しました！＆お遍路さんへのお接待🐟

4月19日（日）、初の子ども食堂（定期開催）を開催しました。
地域の皆さんと囲む「鯛めし」は、笑顔あふれる温かい時間になりました！お越しいただいた皆様、ありがとうございました。

今が旬のイタドリ（ひまわり農産で衝動買い）の油いため、いただいたわらびをお浸し（あく抜く初挑戦）、わけぎとホタルイカとわかめのぬた　もお出ししました。

今回、昼間の開催ということもあり、難所・焼山寺へ向かうお遍路さんとはなかなか時間が合わず、直接の交流は叶いませんでした…。
「お腹を空かせたお遍路さんにも、力をつけてほしい」
そんな思いから、残った鯛めしは夕方に到着されたお遍路さんへ「お接待」としてお渡ししました！

🌏 外国人お遍路さん（Pilgrims）も大歓迎です！
当宿は、国籍を問わずすべてのお遍路さんの休憩・交流の場でありたいと願っています。
次回以降、英語での案内も強化していきます。日本のお米の美味しさ、そして地域の温かさをぜひ体験していただきたいです。

Report: Our 1st Children's Cafeteria & Osettai for Pilgrims 🐟

On Sunday, April 19th, we held our very first "Children's Cafeteria" (Kodomo Shokudo). It was a wonderful day filled with smiles as locals gathered to enjoy our homemade Tai-meshi (sea bream rice). Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Since most pilgrims heading for the challenging Mt. Shosanyaji (Stage 12) leave early in the morning, we didn't have the chance to eat together during the lunch event. However, we wanted to make sure hungry pilgrims still received a boost for their journey!

In the evening, we shared the remaining Tai-meshi as "Osettai" (traditional hospitality) with pilgrims arriving at our inn.

🌏 To our International Pilgrims:
Our inn aims to be a place of rest and cultural exchange for all pilgrims, regardless of nationality. We are working on improving our English guidance so you can experience the deliciousness of Japanese rice and the warmth of our local community. Please feel free to stop by!
