๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฆ๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐
Today, in my capacity as CECM for Lands and Urban Development, County Government of Busia, I had the honour of joining ๐๐ฟ. ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฟ๐, ๐ฃ๐ต๐, ๐๐๐ฆ, ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐, ๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐๐๐ฟ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฒ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ, alongside County Secretary CS Oscar Juma, during an inspection tour of ongoing stadium construction projects across the country.
We visited the Busia County Stadium, which is among the facilities currently under construction and is scheduled to host the Jamhuri Day celebrations on 12th December.
The Principal Secretary emphasized to the contractors the need to ensure that the playing field is completed within the set timelines to facilitate the successful hosting of the national celebrations.
The visit brought together the County Commissioner of Busia, representatives from the Ministry of Defence, and other county dignitaries, including the C.O. in the Department of Lands, Hon. Fautine Ounoi.
๐.๐. ๐๐ฟ. ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐น ๐ก๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐๐ฎ ๐ข๐๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฎ has consistently emphasized the importance of adhering to project timelines for the quick realization of development projects and services for the people of Busia.
As the County Government, we remain committed to working closely with all stakeholders to ensure that ongoing projects are delivered on time, to the required standards, and for the benefit of our people.
