Queen K cottages is a unique 3 bedroom cottage, executive honey moon suite upstairs and studio rooms nestled in the outstandingly beautiful surroundings of watamu town, kilifi county. The cottage sleeps up to 20 persons and we accept group bookings, family, college student bookings. ROOMS

THE LAY OF THE COTTAGE:
An open dining area downstairs is floored with galana slate and beautiful rugs and overlooks the swimming pool and the natural garden. Kitchen contains all mod cons and cooking utensils
Upstairs to the right is the honey moon suite which contains a king size bed, study table, small living room, dstv, air conditioned and a small balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the garden. All the beds are double beds with mosquito nets and lamu Swahili beds. For those who can’t totally embrace the seclusion of queen k cottage, we have WIFI set up in the cottage free of charge so you can keep in touch with the outside world! OPTIONAL CATERING:

Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner are all available, just ask Thomas for more information. We use our own fresh produce from our local market & locally sourced meat to create some utterly delicious food. All allergies & dietary requirements can be catered to. Or, if you'd just prefer dinner, a delicious 3 course meal with locally reared meat & vegetables plucked straight from our LOCAL MARKET is USD30 per person. We can serve food in the comfort of the Cottage or request for a room service. THE AREA:
watamu is a clean town , quiet and full of natural scenery. A sandy tidal beach lies just a moment's walk away and offers a tranquil swim, a rugged coastline climb, or just a wander around the beach. The walks along watamu town are absolutely incredible;
The surrounding countryside is dotted with small colourful towns and villages, which provide a range of food from Mijikenda traditional food to high Italian restaurant quality standard. Malindi town is just 3 kilometers from the cottage and has a wide variety of delicious restaurants and, in particular, a traditional Swahili culture. You can catch up all the water sports in the beach or you book one with our desk. Meet the GEDE ruins and the snake farms including the sokoke forest where you can go and watch butterflies. TRANSPORT
Moi international airport (Malindi) is kilometers away from the cottage. The cottage offer transfer services to the airport and to the hotel ,either Mombasa airport or malindi airport but of course with a discounted surcharge, you can contact our tour desk for arrangements and booking. Taxi services within watamu town are also available at our tour desk and you can arrange with our desk for a city tour or safari.
