Shocking Experience!!!!!!!
She boarded a Matatu in Town heading towards Nairobi West at about 6 PM
on
Sunday. She chose the front seat next to the Driver. There were other
people in the Matatu, so she did not think danger awaited her! Somewhere
along the route, when the Matatu stopped to pick up passengers, the
person sitting on her left side showed her a Knife and the Matatu Driver
produced a Syringe!
The Manamba had now moved forward to block the View of other Passenger
and pressed her down as the Driver Injected her with a Sedative!
She woke about an Hour and Half later in Langata Cemetery! Samaritans
offered to take her Home....thoroug hly shocked, confused and
traumatised!. They rushed her to hospital first and commenced
Preventative Treatment immediately. POOR THING HAD BEEN REPEATEDLY
R***D!!!
Lessons learned:
1. Ladies should Avoid the Front Seat unless you know the Matatu or the
Crew... Hospital Authorities told them this happens a lot!
2. If you Pass out on the Front seat, other Passengers will assume that
you are a friend of the Driver!
3. All the Injections are administered by the Driver or an Accomplice.
4. Avoid Plain white Nissans. Use the known Matatus with Multi Colours.
Poor girl couldn't remember anything about the Matatu.
5. Board Matatus at designated points controlled by other 'Massai
Touts'... here you can find a schedule of Departures. Be carefull people
its a scary world.

ATTRACTIONS AROUND VERA INN:

HIPPO POINT

"See picture of unforgettable sunset as viewed from Hippo Point."

Hippo Point is a 600 acres viewing area on Lake Victoria. The grassy and palm-laden Hippo Point sticks into Lake Victoria at Dunga, about 3km south of Kisumu City. It is a pleasant spot to head for. It has a fishing port though you're not guaranteed to see any hippos. Despite its name, it is better known as a viewing point for its unobstructed sunsets over the lake. There also used to be a cool restaurant here, but it burnt down years ago.

A wealthy man who had only one daughter. When the daughter was of marriage age, the father sent news around town that all the eligible young men should come to compete in a test which would determine who was fit to marry his daughter. On that set day, all the able-bodied young men came out. Some came with paper and biro and others with cutlasses and swords. The rich man took them to his swimming pool and addressed the men: “ Any of you who can swim from one end of this swimming pool to the other would marry my daughter. In addition, I‘ll give him $15, a car and a house so they can start life well. I shall be waiting to meet my son-in-law at the other side. Good luck!” As the young men, allvery excited at the prospect of winning, started taking off their shirts, a helicopter came over the pool and dropped snakes and crocodiles into the pool. Immediately all the men turned back and started wearing their shirts again. Disappointed, some of them said let d man marry daughter,i can't enjoy d prize wen i die o...All of a sudden, they heard a splash in the pool. Everybody watched in amazementas one gentleman struggled his way across, avoiding the snakes and crocodiles. Finally, he made it to the other side. The rich man could not believe it. He asked the young man to name anything he wanted but the man was still panting uncontrollably. Finally, he got himself and made a request saying ” pls someone should show me the idiot that pushed me inside this pool”..lolz....
Moral: You don’t know what you are capable of doing, until you arePUSHED!!. You can still make the most out of the rest of the YEAR=

Once upon a time there was a girl who had four boyfriends.

She loved the fourth boyfriend the most and adorned him with rich robes and treated him to the finest of delicacies. She gave him nothing but the best.

She also loved the third boyfriend very much and was always showing him off to neighboring kingdoms. However, she feared that one day he would leave her for another.

She also loved her second boyfriend. He was her confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with her. Whenever this girl faced a problem, she could confide in him, and he would help her get through the difficult times.

The girl's first boyfriend was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining her wealth and kingdom. However, she did not love the first boyfriend, although he loved her deeply, she hardly took notice of him!

One day, the girl fell ill and she knew her time was short. She thought of her luxurious life and wondered, 'I now have four boyfriends with me, but when I die, will I be alone.'

Thus, she asked the fourth boyfriend, 'I loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?
'No way!', replied the fourth boyfriend, and he walked away without another word.

His answer cut like a sharp knife right into her heart.

The sad girl then asked the third boyfriend, 'I loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?' 'No!', replied the third boyfriend. 'Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to marry someone else!' Her heart sank and turned cold.

She then asked the second boyfriend, 'I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?'

'I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!', replied the second boyfriend. 'At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave.'
His answer struck her Like a bolt of lightning, and the girl was devastated.

Then a voice called out: 'I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go.' The girl looked up, and there was her first boyfriend. He was very skinny as he suffered from malnutrition and neglect.

Greatly grieved, the girl said, 'I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!'

In truth, you have four boyfriends in your lives:

Your fourth boyfriend is your body. No matter how much time and effort you lavish in making it look good, it will leave you when you die.

Your third boyfriend is your possessions, status and wealth. When you die, it will all go to others.

Your second boyfriend is your family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for you, the furthest they can stay by you is up to the grave.

And your first boyfriend is your spirit. Often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the world.

However, your spirit is the only thing that will follow you where ever you go. Cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, for it is the only part of you that will follow you to the throne of God and continue with you throughout Eternity.

Thought for the day: Remember, when the world pushes you to your knees, you're in the perfect position to pray.

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.
