Perched high on the rim of Africa's Great Rift Valley, Angama Mara is a remarkable safari lodge with a sensational vantage point overlooking the Maasai Mara.
This luxurious Lodge was inspired by the Swahili word for 'suspended in mid-air' therefore seeming to float way up above the Maasai Mara. Every morning, hot air balloons sail past this lodge.

Zebras are primarily grazers and can subsist on lower-quality vegetation. They are preyed on mainly by lions, and typically flee when threatened but also bite and kick.
Zebra species differ in social behaviour, with plains and mountain zebra living in stable harems consisting of an adult male(stallion), several adult females(mares) and their young(foals) while Grevy’s zebra live alone and in loosely associated herds.
