In May 2024, unprecedented floods from the Talek River changed the course of history for Fig Tree Camp. What began as a challenging night turned into an extraordinary journey of recovery. Thanks to the dedication of over 100 team members, the camp has risen again back, better, and stronger.

Today, a new elevated bridge, a redesigned reception, and enhanced guest spaces mark a remarkable transformation while preserving the spirit that has made Fig Tree Camp a Masai Mara icon.
