Our National Park Shimba Hills (the only place in the world where you can see the Sable antelope) is half an hour drive away. Diani itself has a wide variety of wildlife, especially monkeys (don't feed them!) and we have 4 different species of monkeys roaming our gardens. The compound covers 7 acres, best security in Diani with 3 daytime askaris (watchmen) and 4 nighttime askaris. Furthermore our 6 Rottweilers Balloo, Shuari, Shela, Wasini, Tonga and Scubi are lovely companions, some patrol at nigh.
