Their space was relatively good sized. They seem to be enjoying themselves. It was fun watching penguins swim about.

One of the better ways to spend a rainy day in Tokyo. Jellyfish, large aquarium tanks with pretty fishes, garden eels, shark, stingray, penguins, seals.
There were food stalls mostly selling snacks.

Cedar Avenue, Togakushi, Nagano, Japan
1hr bus ride from Nagano to Togakushi. Best to reserve online as local bus has fewer schedules.
Don’t forget to bring bear bells or whistles. During my visit, bears just finished hibernating.
By the gate/bus stop, there’s toilet facility, but not much food nor souvenir shops.
Cedar trees were super tall and lovely.

Free shuttle to/from ropeway station from Nagatoro Station. There’s a bit of hike but not steep.
On top, there’s Susabino Terrace, Susabino Kitchen, park garden, awesome view of Mt Buko.

📍Zenkoji Temple from Nagano Station
From Bus stop #1, the bus passes along the road leading to Zenkoji Nakamise Street, and the temple gates.
I got off at Hananokoji stop and walked. It was nice visiting the rows of shops. Some of them carry the same souvenirs, similar prices too. Also went to a lovely coffee shop Shinkoji Cafe, which was also library-cafe setup. Best waffles and fresh strawberries.

The hotel hosts simple daily breakfast for all guests.
Breads, spreads, coffee/tea. Self-checkout before 10AM. Staff were nice and helpful. I was able to leave my luggage before the 3PM check-in.
Toiletries at the lobby, just get what you need.
There’s Komeda across the road, and konbini at the intersection. Very near Nagoya Station.

Pokemon GoFest 2026 Odaiba Tokyo
Our slot was 4-8pm. We started from Odaiba-kaihinkoen Station. It ran special trips throughout the day for players. What’s noticeable was, it’s relatively quiet in most areas- no background music. Altho at Aomi area there were presentations, food stalls, mascot parade, music etc.
Best part was the end when everyone just followed the game and put their phones up lol 😂 let’s not mention that🤫

Very convenient location, just across Takasaki Station. Nearby: konbini, Matsuya open 24/7
Staff were nice, you can leave luggage on same day of check-in/out.
