We have a beautiful, cosy studio available in the heart of Bukchon Hanok Villageโ€”quietly tucked in the alleys, yet just a short walk from Gwanghwamun.

With the BTS concert this Saturday (March 21st), most places nearby are already fully booked, but this one last spot is still open. Only one lucky group will get to stay.

Hi dear all, this is Emilyโ€”and itโ€™s been a while since our last update.

So much has changed in the most beautiful way ๐Ÿค

Recently, our family welcomed a new little soul into the worldโ€”my son. And just like that, Gahoedang became even warmer, filled with the quiet sounds of a newborn and the gentle rhythm of a new beginning.

My parents, who once loved traveling and sharing their home with guests from around the world, are now spending their days at homeโ€”holding, caring for, and completely falling in love with their very first grandchild. Watching them become grandparents has been something truly specialโ€ฆ a different kind of journey, but just as meaningful.

Because of this new chapter, Gahoedang is no longer available for stays for the time being. The home is now fully resting as a family space, holding these small, precious moments together.

But for those who have loved and supported Gahoedang, weโ€™re happy to share that we are still welcoming guests just next doorโ€”at our modern studio in Bukchon Hanok Village. Itโ€™s a space that has welcomed guests from all over the world and has been loved by many over time.

weโ€™re excited to introduce a new space in Bukchon here instead.

A cozy stay with warm wooden interiors,
lush green plants,
and a beautiful hanok rooftop view from the window.
