Digital Media & Outreach Intern (Remote, Commission-Based)

What You'll Do:
As our Digital Media & Outreach Intern, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and expanding our network of boarding options. Your responsibilities will include:
Boarding Owner Outreach & Confirmation:
A primary responsibility will be proactively contacting boarding owners to gather their boarding details, verify information, and ensure boarding confirmations are accurately recorded and updated on our platform. This is a key part of this role and requires strong communication and organizational skills.
Communication Management:
Handling inquiries and interactions across various online channels, ensuring timely and helpful responses to our users and partners.
Website Administration:
Assisting with the day-to-day management of our website (MyBodima.lk), which may include content updates, listing management, and basic technical support.
Social Media Page Management:
Creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content for our social media platforms. You'll also monitor social media trends and interact with our followers to foster a vibrant online community.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and excellent communicator with:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly for outreach and negotiation.
A strong understanding of popular social media platforms and their best practices.
Basic familiarity with website content management (experience with specific platforms is a plus, but not required).
The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively in a remote environment.
A genuine interest in the digital landscape and a willingness to learn and adapt.
A confident and persuasive approach for contacting and building rapport with boarding owners.
