Help was needed… rushed there quickly.
Hell is very deep… a rope was put and a bridge was lowered.
It was impossible to carry the injured people up… rocks were moved along the rope to bring them up.
There was no light, it was dark… even tried using a flashlight from far away.

In the end, the bodies of those who died were brought home.

If asked why leaving this island is impossible… the first reason is this…
The people of Sri Lanka never give up, even in death ❤❤

Tonight, a tragic bus accident occurred near Mouthaven Hotel involving a bus carrying passengers from Tangalle. Our hearts go out to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in this unfortunate incident. We extend our deepest sympathy and prayers to them during this difficult time.

Reports indicate that three people have sadly passed away, and many others have been injured. Witnesses describe our brave team risking their lives—climbing a 500-foot cliff, pulling people to safety, throwing water bottles, using flashers, and lifting injured bodies carefully to rescue them 💔🥲. Words cannot express the courage and dedication of those working tirelessly to save lives.

We wish a safe and speedy recovery to all the injured. If you are nearby and able to help, your support can make a real difference.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who rushed to help, and much love to the people of Ella for their bravery and compassion.
