Underwater cleanup success at Dutch Bay today! We removed around 70 crown-of-thorns starfish and collected approximately 100 kg of debris. Huge thanks to everyone who joined the effort to protect our marine ecosystem. Let’s keep our oceans clean and thriving!

TDHA Explores Cross-Promotional Opportunities and Investments with Vietnam

Under the leadership of our President, Mr. Kumar Jeyakumaran, the Trincomalee District Hotel Association (TDHA) had the privilege of meeting with the Ambassador of Vietnam on April 13, 2024, in Trincomalee.

The discussions focused on inbound tourism promotion, cross-promotional opportunities between Sri Lanka and Vietnam, and attracting potential Vietnamese investments into the Trincomalee region. This strategic dialogue marks an important step toward strengthening international relations and economic collaboration.

We are optimistic about receiving positive feedback and look forward to exploring new business opportunities and partnerships that will benefit both nations while supporting Trincomalee’s growth as a premier tourist destination.
