Is it possible for a train to climb a mountain? Engineering says YES: This is the world's steepest funicular railway; At its steepest point, the slope is 110%, about 47 degrees.

Opened in December 2017, the Stoos funicular railway connects the village of that name to the Muota valley, famous for the Hölloch caves, which are among the longest in the world. The new funicular has taken the place of an older line built in 1933, the concession for which had expired.

أبرمت الحكومة السعودية عقودا قيمتها 22.5 مليار دولار لثلاثة ائتلافات تقودها شركات أجنبية لتصميم وتنفيذ أول شبكة للمترو في العاصمة الذي سيشمل ستة خطوط بطول إجمالي 176 كيلومرت تعمل عليها قطارات إلكترونية بدون سائقين وهو أكبر مشروع لشبكات النقل العام في العالم يجري تطويره حاليا.
