there is comfort in being surrounded by colours of earth because these colours belong to somewhere deep within us. to ground beneath our feet. of landscapes we come from. of the natural world that continues its own gentle rhythm. to live among earth hues is to live with a little less noise. to allow materials to speak. to find beauty in their imperfections and to feel that a home can hold the same calm as a land it belongs to. we are part of nature even when we are indoors.

our douiria. a little annex to the riad unfolds as a natural continuation of the architecture and soul of our house. thoughtfully designed and shaped by Martine it carries the same sensibility for material. colour. form. a beauty of space that feels entirely its own.

riad and douiria have been imagined together as one considered experience. intimate rooms for one or two. each with its own private bathroom with the possibility of bringing all rooms together to create a home for family and friends.

inspired by the tiny house philosophy of living with less. the douiria finds beauty in simplicity. honest materials. meaningful hues. considered lines come together in spaces that feel intimate, calm and connected.

our riad is built beautifully inward. our rooms gather around water, a banana tree, around a small piece of sky. light moves slowly through the house. touching tadelakt and textiles as the day changes. architecture is not something separate from living. it is felt in the coolness of a wall. the weight of old timbers. the sound of water. a softness of a room at the end of the day. a house made for turning inward. where materials, light and quietness create their own rhythm.
