We wish to ask for more patience and broader understanding in this difficult time.

To Travel Agents,
I know how difficult it must be to accommodate all requests from your customers. You might be receiving curses, some might be blaming you for things that are beyond your control and not even your own doing. When you are at a point of giving up and about to lash out to your partner companies (airline, hotel, tour operators, system providers), please remember that they are also feeling the same way you do. They are also struggling to help out, and trying their best to set aside their personal lives, putting their health at risk for you. 🙇🏻🙇🏻‍♀️

To Airlines, Hotels, Tour Operators and system providers,
You didn’t ask for this. You are also worried sick with future looking so scary. You think about your families, your employees. Yet, it seems like it’s your fault because a lot of people are blaming you for delays in responses, policies that you have put in place to ensure your business stay afloat, hoping you can survive this. Hang on there! ✈️ 🏨 🏖

To end customers, the travelling public, 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻‍♂️
We understand your concerns. We are also scared about this whole damn thing. You want to travel asap, you want to postpone the whole trip or even ask for full refund. Amidst all this chaos, I sincerely hope you extend more patience and understanding to the people handling your travel requirements. If airlines, hotels, tour operators and even travel agents don’t survive this, you will be left with few choices to deal with. And knowing the concept of supply and demand, few suppliers with more demand will result to higher rates.

We all have roles to play in this. There’s no point in blaming each other and causing more stress that might even affect everyone’s health, making us more susceptible to sickness. This is your time to contribute to the matter at hand. To the industry, to the nation.

In the end, we only have each other. Let’s fight this together, encourage each other and march on.

This is a defining moment in our lives and history as a nation. Let’s all do our share.
