Orientale, it’s all about wok and chopstick 🥢
It’s one of my favourite restaurants in The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli. They have just launched a new menu. Everything on the menu will not leave you disappointed.

GOOD TO KNOW:
• The Shanghai Dumplings 🥟 on the appetiser menu is really really finger licking good 😌. There are 5 pieces per dish. You need at least 2 of this.
• And if you are a meat lover - must try the stir fried black pepper wagyu beef 🥩

Whale Shark Snorkelling with Norma, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort private yacht.

I can't ask for a better kick-start of the year 2021. Spotting a whale shark is not easy, according to the dive instructor and the Norma captain. It was truly a magical feeling to see this gentle giant and to be able to swim with it is beyond what I have imagined.

Here is the BTS full video - The Making of The Gingerbread house, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort 🎄

To make this huge gingerbread house, Chef Rampal has used:
◦ 16 kg of semolina flour
◦ 3 kg of hazelnut powder
◦ 50 kg of icing sugar
◦ 25 kg of unsalted butter
◦ 50 kg of flour
◦ 15 kg of honey
◦ 2 kg of ginger bread spice
◦ Citric acid
◦ 1 big carton of eggs
◦ 20 kg of brown sugar
◦ 2 kg of salt

Amazing work and effort from the team in helping me to get this video accomplished. Given the high season schedule, we somehow made this work.

When you hear the word Alba, you think of truffle. The seasonal Alba white truffle here will have you 🤤

A 180 degree of natural light penetrates through these uber high glass doors while you are having your meal. This will straighten your day out.

Another beautiful spot to watch the sunset is at the roof top of Alba Restaurant. You will have the rooftop all to yourself ☀️✨
