Two safaris, two countries, and double the adventure. From the untamed wilds of South Luangwa with our ever steady guide Billy, to the lush beauty of Liwonde National Park and the crystal calm of Lake Malawi with the amazing Chikondi, we’re living the best kind of chaos!

There’ve been a few border-crossing ( Malawi into Zambia) shenanigans with Billy — a mix of patience, paperwork, and laughter — but somehow, we’ve made it to and back in true African road-trip style. Now we’re wandering through the heart of Malawi, where every turn feels like a new story waiting to happen.

Fuel struggles come and go, but the adventure keeps rolling — because the road always finds a way. Here in Liwonde, the midday heat blazes strong, giving way to cooler, peaceful evenings under starlit skies. And just when you think it can’t get more surreal, elephants wander past our room, reminding us that we’re only guests in their world.

From roaring lions to the rhythm of Lake Malawi waves, from wild drives to shared laughter — this Malawi–Zambia journey is everything adventure should be: unpredictable, breathtaking, and deeply alive.
