This is "Abuela". She oversees the entrance and comings and goings from Villa Tortugas - Riviera Maya. During a recent visit by a Mayan shaman, we learned she has an alter ego. The shaman claimed she was Ixcel, the queen. She is receiving offerings from and bestowing blessings on visitors. Legend says that she and king Itzamna are the creators of the universe.
