Hay lugares que te hacen dudar de tus propios ojos. Bacalar es uno de ellos.

La llaman la Laguna de los Siete Colores, pero en realidad son más. Muchos más. Tonos que van del turquesa al cobalto, del jade al azul profundo que parece no tener fondo. Colores que ni la mejor cámara logra capturar del todo.

Pero lo que no te cuentan es esto: los colores se ven mejor desde el silencio. Desde la plataforma flotante, cuando el agua está quieta y el sol pinta cada tono con intensidad. O desde un kayak, lejos del bullicio del pueblo, donde solo escuchas el remo cortando el agua.

Bacalar no es un destino para ver. Es un lugar para sentirse.

Antes de que salga el sol, la laguna guarda silencio.

El cielo se enciende en rosas suaves, naranjas tímidos y azules que apenas despiertan. Desde nuestro muelle, te lanzas al agua en kayak mientras el mundo aún duerme.

Remas despacio. Los pájaros comienzan su día. Los siete colores de Bacalar van apareciendo uno a uno. Y por un momento, flotando entre el cielo y la laguna, el silencio te pertenece por completo.
