Platanitos is our very own little beach village a mere 10 minute stroll from Villa Estrella. It has a great beach and a dozen beachfront restaurants. We love relaxing with friends, an ice bucket of Coronas, platefuls of tasty seafood, wandering Mariachis and a fabulous unspoiled Mexican beachfront vibe.

The beautiful El Cora waterfall, a very popular excursion for our guests at Villa Estrella, About 40 minute drive away. Wear solid hiking shoes, its a steep descent into the canyon, with a lovely swimming lagoon at the foot of the falls.
