Most places ask the landscape to make room. KAN was made the other way around — quiet enough to be missed by anyone who didn’t know to look.

The jungle and the day outside is vast, the room is brief. Both arrangements are correct.

The only honest approach was to build lightly, take up little, and let the rest of the frame remain what it has always been.

If these walls could talk, they’d tell stories of sunrise practices, of shaky starts and quiet breakthroughs, of bodies waking up and breath returning, of discipline, of strangers becoming a room.

Affectionately known as ‘the spaceship’ KAN’s bamboo practice space has seen people challenge themselves, rebuild trust with their body, and find rhythm again.
