The Great Durian Debate:
Is It Really the King of Fruits?

There’s only one way to settle the age old durian debate... by tasting it!

Our guests were invited to sample the famous King of Fruits and cast their vote for one of two choices: “King of Fruits” or “Not For Me.” The reactions were priceless. From curious first bites to laughter, surprise, and unforgettable facial expressions, every moment made this tasting session one to remember.

After all the votes were counted, the results were in... “Not For Me” claimed victory with 24 votes against 19! It was a close contest, proving that durian is a fruit people either absolutely love or simply can’t get along with.

One thing is for sure, regardless of the final score, the laughter, the brave first bites, and the priceless expressions made this one of our favourite moments to share with our guests.

Ten years, countless matches, unwavering determination, and one shared dream. Yesterday, Tanjung Rhu Resort rose to the occasion and reclaimed the MAH Langkawi Inter Hotel Football Tournament 2026 Championship.

This victory is more than silverware. It represents resilience, teamwork, passion, and the never give up spirit that defines the Tanjung Rhu family.
