Coming to you soon, Borneo!

My Land Cruiser (Tara) is on her way across the South China Sea, and I'll be starting my overland expedition across Sabah and Sarawak very soon.
Since I had to remove quite a number of items before shipping (automotive fluids, fire extinguisher, maintenance sprays and some camping gear), I'll need to restock once I arrive in Kota Kinabalu.

I'd love some recommendations please!

🔧 1. A decent place in Kota Kinabalu to get quality automotive fluids for a Toyota Land Cruiser? Engine oil, brake & clutch fluid, power steering fluid, coolant... basically all the essentials.

🛠️ 2. Any reliable 4x4 workshops in Kota Kinabalu or elsewhere in Sabah? (Feel free to share your trusted workshops in Sarawak too!)

🏕️ 3. Any good 4x4 or outdoor accessory shops? Might be good to pick up a few expedition essentials like recovery gear, traction boards and other useful camping accessories before starting the expedition.

If you own a workshop, outdoor store, 4x4 accessory shop, campsite, or think your business could be a good fit for this expedition, I'd be happy to explore potential collaborations along the way.

Tara just got a power upgrade!

My Land Cruiser is now equipped with:
🔋 EcoFlow Delta 3 Max Plus (upgraded from the Delta 2 Max)
☀️ EcoFlow Flexible Solar Panels (total 200W) for supplemental charging while parked.
🔌 EcoFlow 800W Alternator Charger (charging while driving)

The alternator charger is still my primary charging source while driving, but the solar panels now provide a reliable backup, reduce the load on the alternator, and keep my power station topped up during longer stays in camp.

Last weekend, I had the privilege of meeting and connecting with some amazing people - viewers and supporters of my channel, folks who share the same love for the outdoors, and people who resonate with the stories I tell.

It was a camp meet called 'Camp With Jun'. I initially found the name a little too vain and egocentric, but eventually decided to just go with it because it was clear, simple, and straight to the point.

Two days and one night of camping, embraced by the peaceful nature of Kenaboi Adventure Camp . We bonded over kampung-style meals, campfire conversations, fresh air, jungle walks and plenty of laughs. I hope everyone had as good a time as I did.

It was really nice to finally put faces and names to the people on the other side of the screen who have quietly supported my journey over the years.

To everyone who came, and to the amazing crew at Kenaboi Adventure Camp who made this gathering possible, thank you. I just want to express my appreciation and gratitude to you guys for being such beautiful human beings. Your kindness, encouragement and support have given deeper meaning to what I do.

Hope our paths cross again someday. ❤️

This is probably the most personal video I've made so far.
