Sehari Bersama MBPP 🌱 — Turning Awareness into Action

Sustainability begins with small, consistent actions — and together, those actions create real impact.

Ascott Penang Region was honoured to partner with Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP) for a meaningful CSR initiative focused on sustainable waste management.

Held at the Recycling Hub, Taman Serena (Jelutong), the session gave our team hands-on exposure to proper waste segregation, recycling practices, and food waste management. More than just learning, it was about experiencing firsthand how responsible habits can shape a cleaner future.

In just 30 minutes, 26 participants came together to collect an impressive 138.13 kg of waste — a powerful reminder that collective effort truly matters.

A heartfelt thank you to Mohd Taufik b Junik and the MBPP team for their invaluable guidance and dedication in driving environmental awareness within the community.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Good for families or longer stays
Since it’s a serviced apartment, the space is more generous
Feels more comfortable especially if you’re travelling with kids or staying a few nights
