Nibbs Homestay Diary

Today is the Setiu Adventure day!

We left KT town at 8 am, arrived Kg Pengalaman Gelap around 9.30am.
Quick rest and change clothes before we head out to the river to collect fresh water clams aka ETOK!

Then came back to the kampung house and enjoyed Setiu authentic lunch, complete with dessert and watermelon 🍉

Afternoon session was going to the beach and dip in the sea!
No other people at the beach so it was just us 🥰

To end the day, we went to collect Kepah (another type of clams) .

My guests were tired so they went back first. The host cooked the Etok they collected and I send it to them at the hotel they are staying.

Alhamdulillah, hope they had good time 💕

Nibbs Homestay Diary

Cuaca Lemau - Hari yg tiada matahari, mendung tapi panas, melancholic feeling yg buat org rasa sedih, tak bertenaga, lemau, dan lepas tu macam2 negative thoughts boleh keluar di fikiran i.e. useless, pointless, segala mcm less lah 😅. Cuaca buat rasa sakit.

Ya, minggu ni mcm ni lah cuaca di bandar Kuala Terengganu. Saya ingat saya je yg rasa tak best, nasib baik keluar mlm tadi jumpa kawan2, rupanya ramai yg rasa mcm tu.

Nibbs Homestay Diary
One of the popular spot amongst tourist is Warung ICT Pok Nong. I personally don't go there to eat because it is quite a distance from KT to Tok Jembal. But when guests want to go, I'll take them there.

A friend said to me "Pok Nong on a Friday is beyond gigih! " 😂😂😂

Places I go to for ikan celup tepung:
- Pantai Pandak
- Warung Pisang Goreng Lorong Hj Da (very near to Nibbs Homestay!)

Nibbs Homestay Diary

I stopped counting number of guests who stayed with us. Alhamdulillah we are happy to welcome each and everyone who came 💕.

This weekend we are hosting 4 ladies. 2 siblings with their daughters. Lovely.

Some of the itineraries:
- checking out kedai emas 😃
- cafe hopping
- trip to Pulau Kapas

When I first started Nibbs Homestay, I don't have much clue of how to do it.

Now I am quite confident and certain of how I want to run Nibbs Homestay.

I want to help provide memorable moments to all my guests. InshaAllah I will try my best to create those memories for you 😊.

Nak gi pulau & nak I temankan, inshaAllah boleh. While typing this post I am looking after my guests belongings.

Nak cari kedai emas viral, I will Google and call them to not close the shop just yet. Datang jauh2, kalau dah teringin nak pergi, harus cuba pergi. Kalau tak dpt jugak, maknanya takde rezeki. Alhamdulillah semalam dpt pergi Maya Kedai Emas Lelong 😃

Other places that my guests went to/eat during this trip were:
- Pok Nong ICT
- Nasi Dagang Atas Tol
- Masjid Terapung
- Masjid Kristal

As for cafe hopping
- Qawa
- Xofi
- Vellopreso

For the past couple of weeks, I was doing a lot of thinking of what's next for me. For now, inshaAllah I think I am still on this Nibbs Homestay.

When my guests are happy, I am happy.
Wallahualam, maybe that's what Allah's plan for me.
In Him I put my trust 💕

Assalamualaikum & good morning from Nibbs Homestay!
Our morning starts after subuh prayer when the cats are released to the garden.
If not going to the beach for morning walk, working at the garden is the workout 😊

My late parents planted many pokok2 ulam in this little garden of ours. When you stay with us, you can pluck the ulam yourself. You can also bring the seedlings back home 😃.

Ok, got to go and start my morning workout.
