Whether you wish to camp on the beach with a constant breeze from the ocean or enjoy a more private spot, Vista De Bazaruto offers a unique camping experience. Part of the unique experience is the freshwater pond full of fresh

water fish, frogs and birds. It is a great place where bush and beach coincide, offering freshwater fishing for the young ones and birding for the older folks. There is a road on the property allowing guests to launch their boats in front of camp. Deep Sea Fishing is exceptional around Inhassoro and due to the fact that camp is only 8 km from Paradise Island and 24 km from Bazaruto Island, family island trips are a must when staying at Vista De Bazaruto. A 2x4 vehicle will reach camp, but a 4x4 is preferred with off road trailers/caravans. One can expect local style ablutions with hot & cold showers and clean toilets. There is a kitchen & wash up area as well as a braai facility near the pond. The following are available and need to be arranged with management on arrival:

Tropical Cyclone Gezani
Update from Inhassoro
19:00 – Vista de Bazaruto

The storm has passed approximately 200 km to the south-east of us. We are safe and extremely grateful to have been spared the full force of this vicious cyclone.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the communities further south who may still experience the full impact.

We experienced the most beautiful sunset this evening, a calm, golden reminder of grace after the storm. The sky was painted in soft hues of amber and rose, a quiet collaboration between light and sea, wrapping the horizon in peace and gratitude.
