Tom's Cabin We offer long term rentals in Oranjemund. Bachelor flats and rooms. The town boasts much wildlife. Ostriches also roam the outskirts of town.

This page is about the guest house known as Tom's Cabin, set in the small diamond mining town, Oranjemund (Namibia). We have gemsbok that roam the town day and night, and if you are'nt careful and leave your gate open, they might just invite themselves in and make a feast of your garden! There are also jackles that come into town at night to look for food. You can often hear them start howling bef

ore the sun begins to set. Occassionally a herd of springbok will roam close to town as well. The guest house is located directly across the desert, with amazing sunset views.

Hi all. I would like to inform you that as of February 2025, Tom's Cabin will no longer be operating as a guest house. We will be doing long term rentals instead.
