This group of archaeologists, led by , passed by our lodge last night. Our dwelling will be the last fixed structure they encounter for the next 14 days on their mission to cross 140km of the Namib Sand Sea to the Atlantic Ocean. They aim to collect data and samples from an ancient riverbed and conduct further research on early human ancestors in this hyper-arid area. The trolley in pic No. 3 turned out to be impractical, so they left it with us. We’ll definitely put it to good use for our housekeeping team 😃. Thank you, Dr. Leader and team, and best of luck on your mission! 💪🗺️🏜️
