**TBS Foundation Aids Orphaned Newborn at Ola Hospital**

**Akwanga, Nasarawa State – June 18, 2025** – The TBS Foundation, in a continued commitment to humanitarian aid, visited Our Lady of Apostle Hospital (OLA) in Akwanga, Akwanga Local Government Area, yesterday. The delegation presented a cash donation to help provide essential nourishment for a newborn whose mother passed away during childbirth the previous week.

Learning of the tragedy, the TBS Foundation immediately responded by providing funds to OLA Hospital to assist in the care of the orphaned infant. The donation will supplement the hospital's existing resources to ensure proper nutrition for the baby.

The hospital's Reverend Father and management staff expressed their sincere appreciation for the TBS Foundation's timely and compassionate assistance. They highlighted the foundation's contribution in supporting vulnerable patients, particularly the newborn infant.

Over 100 Beneficiaries Enrolled in Wamba LGA's Free Healthcare insurance Subsidy Program powered by TBS Foundation.

Wamba, Nasarawa State 4th June 2025 – A joint initiative by the TBS Foundation and NASHIA successfully enrolled over 100 beneficiaries in a free five-year hospital insurance subsidy program in Wamba Local Government Area (LGA). The enrollment exercise, which took place yesterday at Wamba General Hospital, targeted less privileged widows, orphans, and other vulnerable individuals across the LGA's ten 10 wards.

Prior to the enrollment, forms were distributed to traditional council members, political party officials, and other stakeholders to identify eligible beneficiaries within their respective wards, mostly less privileged .

Mr. Sunday Abu, a NASHIA enrollment officer, commended the coordinating committee for their efforts in mobilizing participants and praised the beneficiaries for providing the necessary information for registration. He highlighted the smooth and efficient process.

Several beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Engr. Tony Bala Shammah, CEO of the TBS Foundation, for providing much-needed relief and access to healthcare. They thanked both the TBS Foundation and NASHIA for this crucial support.

Akwanga, Nasarawa State, 31st May 2025 Engr. Tony Bala Shammah, TBS Movement Team Leader and CEO of the TBS Foundation, led a delegation today to the residence of late Baba Atabe Sule in Angwan Tiv adjacent Angwan Affi, Akwanga, to express condolences to the family following the death of his late wife Mama Atabe Sule who died 80 years.

Mama Atabe, described as eldest woman, leaves behind children. Engr. Shammah, speaking on behalf of the delegation, expressed shock at her passing and offered words of support to the family. He noted the profound impact her loss will have on her children and the community.
