One thing I learnt from that can also improve your customer satisfaction and revenue.

One of the numerous things that stresses bank users is the long queue one is subjected to in banking hall anytime you want to access a service or lay complain.

Personally, I do spend months without a debit card (popular called ATM card) whenever my existing one expires simply because I don’t want to go through banking hall stress.

This means it’s costing the bank #1,000 they could have earned more. Now multiply that by 10,000 assuming there are another 10k people in my shoe.

HERE IS THE MAGIC;

Sometime in 2022, a friend told me of the new automated debit card dispenser right beside their Automated Teller Machine (ATM) at one of their branches in Ibadan and that I can get a new debit card in less than 2minutes. So I decided to try it out.

And alas, I was amazed and well served in less than 2 minutes.

In just 2 steps and less than 2minutes, a new card was printed and dispensed while #950 was deducted from my account. Without having to get into the banking hall or a long queue.

All that is needed to be done is to input your account detail to the machine and verify your identify through your fingerprint, and a card will be made and printed in your name.

Now imagine if more 5k customers gets new card weekly as a result of this, what happens? (I think you know the answer)

LESSON:

You can increase your sales and revenue tremendously by just reducing the stress people go through before accessing/ purchasing your product and services.

Is it the stressful:

- Delivery
- Order taking
- Payment channel
- Customer service etc.

HOW CAN I DO THAT?

- List some of the PAIN POINTS or STRESSFUL PROCEDURES your customers have before buying your product.

- Objectively analyze it and how it affects your business.

- Creatively setup a more easier way to serve them. If possible, automate the process.

- Share the good news about the innovation massively. Highlighting the stress, time or resources you’re saving them by the innovation.

- Keep evolving

- Always get feedback

- Rinse & repeat the above steps every quarter.

When people pay exorbitant fee to dine at certain eateries, recreational centers, business class on airplane, train etc or so their kids can attend expensive schools in/ outside town, they are not always stupid or just paying for the luxury.

So what are they paying for?

They are paying to secure valuable network for themselves, business, mindset, children etc. to have a seat at the rich and wealthy’s table, those they envision as thought leaders in their field, future leaders and many more.

The rich, the wealthy, high net-worth, thought leaders, world shakers etc. stays relevant by networking among themselves.

They sit to rob minds with 3 set of people:

- Those that are a few step lower than them
- Those in their category
- And those some miles ahead of them.

Listen, you have to intentionally develop actionable plan on how to get into their midst.

Regardless of your current status, you still need the three set of people above, either to keep been on top of the game or to leave the trenches.

Which ever stage you are, PAY YOUR WAY INTO THE CIRCLE THIS YEAR. And don’t ever stop.

How can you do that?

- Pay for masterclass, mentorship opportunities, courses etc. of thought leaders in/ outside your field.
Don’t wait for free access. Free access has its limitations mentally and physically.

- Offer value to the rich & wealthy in the society. They also have needs to be met.
Don’t join the league of people who turn themselves to parasites 🦠 on those ahead of them. Parasitizing shuts the access door 🚪 to the world shakers.
Look for needs you can meet in their lives & they’ll see you as a valuable asset.

The rich too wants to:
• Cut Cost
• Save time
• Get wealthier
• Health solutions
• Get Pleasurable Moments
And many more.

- If you have a way to afford sending your children to schools many regards as High Class, please do so with every breathe you have.
Its a way to buy high network for your children & generations to come.

Assuming Dangote, Tony Elumelu, Otedola, Adenuga and many more in such class sends their kids to Kings College and you have your children be in class with theirs. They somehow mix to become friends.
Also, imagine sitting at your children’s school PTA meeting & by that, having to sit with those already in the upper class in the society or likes of those mentioned above. And on long run might get deeper relationship with each other which results to a lifting through job, contract influence, business partnership etc. Don’t be surprise that most contracts, business deal, Real Estate sales etc. done by rich men are mostly done at casual places while hanging out on dinner, playing golf, functions, etc.
Ponder on this so well without poverty mind.

- Register in high network gym, golf, club, recreational center, association etc.

To end with, more than your hustling, efforts, prayers and talents; strategically and intentionally build your network this year if you want to go far this year.

Someone said “If you want to travel fast, go alone. But if you want to travel farther than normal, go with like minds.”
