💞Today we remember the incredible moments we've lived together, especially our wedding day eight years ago, and dream of the days we'll continue to enjoy the bliss of this life together.
Our most memorable anniversaries was in Switzerland, though not for the most romantic reasons. 🤪
The day began at the train station in Interlaken with an impromptu 'blood promise' involving a Swiss knife and a loaf of bread (we both have different versions of that event 😂), followed by a hospital visit in Montreux for stitches, and thankfully ended at a cheese fondue restaurant without further incidents. 🧀🍷
It's funny how easily I can tell you what we did on each anniversary based on what we ate - my foodie nature ties my memories with food. 😇
We often celebrate these special occasions in unique places and so it's easy to remember how often we dined (that was our first dinner date because Iggy "knew the chef") or where we had a picnic together. 🍒
Here's to us and the journey ahead. 🥂
