Small tips and suggestions from our guests means the world to us 💕. Thanks to them we can create even better space for our guests.

We had some really nice group who suggested that we should get a towel rack next to the hot tub. They also suggested that it would be great if we had doormat by the door in the living room, so that the floor will not get wet when people leave hot tub and go inside. As you can see the day after we got both of those things 🙂.

The forests and valleys around Godfjord are home to these impressive animals. While there’s never a guarantee, it’s not unusual to spot a moose while driving the quiet local roads—especially in the early morning or late evening.

✨ A few facts about Godfjord:
• Until the year 2000, Godfjord belonged to Kvæfjord Municipality before becoming part of Sortland.
• The area is surrounded by mountains, quiet fjords, white-sand beaches, and rich wildlife. It’s not unusual to spot sea eagles, moose, otters, and even orcas in the nearby waters during the right season.
• Godfjord is also home to Godfjordbotn Nature Reserve, an important protected wetland that provides a habitat for many bird species.

One of the things we love most about Godfjord is the peace and quiet. No crowds, no rush—just fresh Arctic air, incredible scenery, and nature at its best.

🌿 A scenic drive to Kinn 💕

If you’re staying at Vintage Godfjord Cabin and looking to explore more of the area, we highly recommend taking a drive to Kinn.

Along the way you’ll pass dramatic mountains, beautiful white-sand beaches and stunning fjord views. Keep your eyes open—you may even spot wildlife like moose, sea eagles, or other Arctic wildlife.

What an experience ❤️

Yesterday gave us one of those moments we’ll never forget.

Around 30 or perhaps even more orcas passed through the fjord in three separate groups while we were walking through the neighborhood on our way back to the cabin.
