A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful guests, Valentin and Suki from France, who visited Chame, Manang, during their Annapurna Circuit journey and stayed at Happy Homestay. 🏔️❤️

After the devastating landslides and floods that affected Chame, Manang, on 27 September 2026, our community is still working hard to recover and rebuild. During their visit, Valentin and Suki showed their love and kindness by donating NPR 5,000 to Ghale Aama, a victim affected by the disaster. 🙏❤️

This may seem like a small amount, but for someone facing difficult times, even a little support can bring hope, happiness, and strength. Every act of kindness matters, and every helping hand makes a difference. 🤝❤️

After the devastating floods and landslides, Chame is slowly rising again. 💪❤️ Our damaged bridge has been replaced with a temporary bridge, helping local people and foreign visitors continue their journey through the beautiful Manang Valley.

Watching visitors cross the bridge while yaks cross nearby is a truly unique Himalayan experience. 🐂🏔️ With snow-covered mountains, flowing rivers, and traditional mountain life, Chame remains a place of natural beauty, culture, and adventure.

अस्थायी भए पनि पुल खोल्न तथा निर्माण गर्न महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका निर्वाह गर्नुहुने वडा नं. ४ का अध्यक्ष लोप्साङ दाइ, चामे गाउँपालिकाका अध्यक्ष लोकेन्द्र घले दाइ तथा चामेका सम्पूर्ण युवाहरूलाई हार्दिक धन्यवाद र विशेष सम्मान व्यक्त गर्दछु। 👏❤️

यो पुल स्थायी नभए पनि स्थानीय बासिन्दा, यात्रु तथा पर्यटकहरूलाई नदी वारपार गर्न धेरै सहज भएको छ। यो बाटो मनाङको जीवनरेखा हो, जसले हाम्रो समुदायलाई जोड्नुका साथै दैनिक जनजीवन र आवतजावतलाई सहज बनाउन महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेल्छ। 🏔️🙏

🌉 A Small Bridge, A Big Hope for Manang! ❤️🙏

Special thanks and heartfelt appreciation to Ward No. 4 Chairperson Lopsang Dai, Chame Gaupalika Mayor Lokendra Ghale Dai, and all the youths of Chame who worked together to reopen and build this temporary bridge. 👏❤️

Although it is not a permanent bridge, this great effort has made it much easier for local people, travelers, and visitors to cross the river. This route is the lifeline of Manang, connecting our communities and helping people continue their daily lives. 🏔️🙏

Just a few days ago, crossing this river was extremely difficult and frightening. Today, this temporary bridge has brought some relief and hope to the people of Manang. It is a beautiful example of leadership, teamwork, and community unity during a difficult time. 💪❤️

At the same time, our hearts go out to all the families whose homes and livelihoods have been affected by the devastating flood. Their pain and struggles remind us that recovery is not yet complete. We hope for continued support, a safe and permanent bridge, and brighter days ahead for everyone in Manang. 🙏🏠
