Meet Rita! As a valued member of our housekeeping team, much of her work happens behind the scenes. Every year, through Kilo of Kindness, Mövenpick brings together guests and communities in a spirit of giving. Since 2015, more than 100,000 kilos of essentials have been donated to local charities, but the true impact is not measured in weight, it's in the lives touched.

To mark the 10th anniversary, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts shared 10 inspiring stories that celebrate the difference we've made together. Among the stories from Mövenpick hotels and resorts around the world, we are thrilled to be featured!

For the past two years, we have partnered with Auckland City Mission to support families and communities in need with donations of non-perishable food items and festive gifts.

Shout out to our Front Office Manager, Tasi Fameitau who has been integral to the success of , with her dedication in getting the hotel team involved, and encouraging donations from guests and visitors.

Dinner plans? Chef Hyokeun and his team have added new dishes to the BODA menu. Our favourite — the ricotta gnocchi tteokbokki. Light, decadent gnocchi rests on Korean soy beurre blanc, topped with pine nuts, parmesan, and smoked leek. You’ll want a double order of this one.

Next up is the suyuk braised pork belly, topped with watercress and served over parsnip purée, with a satisfying crunch of rice cake and a hint of fermented shrimp. These flavours come together seamlessly.
