Meet Bandit, the newest (and possibly cutest) addition to the Flockhill family🐮
Bandit is an orphaned calf who needs a little extra help while he grows big and strong, so for the next few months he’ll be calling the Flock Inn home before he’s ready to rejoin the rest of our cattle out on the station.
If you’re staying with us, you might spot him in the paddock behind the Activity Barn. & if you time it right, the team can even set you up with a milk bottle at feeding time. A small glimpse into life on a working high-country station, and a chance to help us give this sweet little guy the best start we can.
Bandit already has company, too. Jill, our little lamb from last spring, has returned to the Flock Inn after becoming rather attached to our Activities Manager, Brooke. And with lambing season underway, there’s a good chance a few more little personalities will be joining them over the coming weeks.
Caring for animals that need a little extra help is one of the realities of farm life, and we think Bandit has landed in a pretty good spot🖤
